Now I am not going to say that every Delonghi coffee maker is a lower priced unit. The ESAM 3300 for example is a nice two-cup unit that has a street price of around $720 and a retail of over $1000. That certainly doesn’t make it a bargain machine by any stretch of the imagination. But think about it, if you were considering spending that much on a two-cup machine, the price is all relative isn’t it? To a person in that class it is fairly inexpensive.

The point I am making here is that as a company the Delonghi coffee maker has something in literally every budget and the quality is consistent at all of those levels. The features are shared between the levels no matter how much you spend you are going to get a great unit for the price you end up paying.

You can buy an average run of the mill machine that will last you a few years and you might even get lucky and get a trouble free unit that looks fairly good. You can also take a step up into a Delonghi coffee maker and get a nice quality machine that has a heritage in quality. The choice and the money that you will be spending are both yours and I would suggest you think about the purchase and make the one that makes the most sense for you.
